More than a half century ago, Model Rectifier Corporation began its march toward hobby product leadership by designing model railroad train controls with a level of realism and power previously unavailable. Today, MRC's technology-rich Tech 4 and Prodigy DCC lead a long list of MRC engineered train controls and sound systems respected and enjoyed by millions of model railroad hobbyist around the world. They are a manufacturer and reseller of model trains, radio-controlled vehicles, planes, boats, helicopters, Flight Simulators, and product accessories. The site features comprehensive product information on over 2,000 items, a secure ecommerce shopping cart system, a product search feature, and a Hobby Shop locator.

When we initially built the site, we converted product photos into web site ready art and converted their product information database into a web-based database. Now, MRC can maintain their own site without our assistance. An MRC administrator signs into an admin area in which they are able to:

• Manage Products. MRC can categorize products to show on multiple pages of the site and add all of the supporting textual product information and upload product photos.



• Manage Transactions. MRC can mark them as to their shipping lifecycle of paid, shipped, and received by the customer. MRC staff can add comments to orders to aid them in the order fulfillment process.



• Manage Dealers locations.



• Manage Newsletter to get reports on who has signed up to receive the email newsletter.
