Users Giving Personal Information
In a survey conducted for Stanford University's Consumer WebWatch, 73% of Internet users were not opposed to giving their email address, name, or other personal information to a web site. 84% of more experienced Internet users (online for at least 3 years) and 47% of less experienced users (online for 6 months or less) have given out this type of information.
